WATCH LIVE: INCREDIBLE footage captures California fire RAVAGING LA area – LIVE WEBCAM

An incredible livestream by ABC News captures devastating scenes as wildfires decimate LA suburbs.

Wildfires, known as ‘Thomas Fire’ can be seen blazing for a fifth day prompting more evacuations as neighbourhoods in San Diego County went up in flames.

Officials from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire said six large wildfires have decimated 141,000 acres in the state this week.

At least 5,700 firefighters are working to contain the towering walls of flames.

The fires have forced 190,000 people out of their homes.

The California governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency within the area.

One death related to the blaze has been reported so far in Ventura Country, where a woman’s body was found.

Cal Fire Division Chief Nick Schuler said Thursday night: ”They need to prepare as if they will be impacted. Where are they gonna go? What are their escape routes? What is their communication to their families?” he said.

The Lilac Fire, the newest of the wildfires, in San Diego County started Thursday and grew to 4,100 acres in a few hours, leading to new evacuation orders.

It has left three people with burn injuries and two firefighters hurt.

The fire is the 19th most destructive fire in the state’s records.

It is also the biggest in Los Angeles since a fire in Bel-Air in 1961 destroyed the homes of the rich and famous.
