PUBG update: Battlegrounds DLC out now on Xbox One, as ANOTHER new vehicle is REVEALED

PUBG fans have been treated to another new reveal, as Xbox One DLC goes live.

Battlegrounds fans can look forward to a new Jet Ski vehicle, which is known as the Aquarail.

The new water vehicle will be available in the original Erangel map, as well as the (see the gallery below).

“Meet Aquarail, a new vehicle coming to Miramar and Erangel. #ThisIsBattleRoyale” reads a Bluehole tweet.

There’s no word on a release date, and whether it will be included in the next test schedule.

The news comes as Microsoft reveals new DLC packs for PUBG on Xbox One.

Ahead of PUBG’s December 12 release date on Xbox One, Microsoft has released the first DLC bundle.

For a limited time only, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds fans can purchase the Warrior Pack from the Microsoft store, where it’s available for £7.99.

The PUBG Warrior Pack includes a balaclava hat, a camo t-shirt, pants and tennis shoes. These can be used to customise your character.

The PUBG Accessory and PUBG Tracksuit packs will be released on December 14 and December 21, respectively.

“These packs are exclusive to Xbox fans as standalone offers available for a limited time and as there are no plans to feature any in-game purchases in the Xbox Game Preview version, they are the only items that can be purchased during this period,” Microsoft warns.

Bluehole’s new Miramar Desert map is said to provide players with new gameplay strategies.

“We are excited beyond words that we can finally share the name of our new desert map and tell you a little bit about some of the places you can visit,” reads a Bluehole blog post.

“When we decided to create a new map, we focused on creating an environment that is very different from Erangel. We wanted to go the opposite direction of having lush fields and forests and arrived at the harsh and unforgiving desert of what we can now reveal is Miramar.

“The unique terrain and dense urban areas of Miramar will create a new Battle Royale experience where the old strategies may no longer work and new tactics are required.”
