Conor McGregor: Dana White slams De La Hoya over call out

Last month, De La Hoya shocked the combat sports world by challenging the UFC’s lightweight champion to meet him inside the boxing ring.

“You know I’m competitive,” “I still have it in me. I’ve been secretly training, secretly training.

“I’m faster than ever and stronger than ever. I know I can take out Conor McGregor in two rounds.

“I’ll come back for that fight. Two rounds. Just one more [fight]. I’m calling him out.

“Two rounds, that’s all I need. That’s all I’m going to say. You heard it on Golden Boy Radio. Two rounds, that’s all I need.”

De La Hoya’s call out of McGregor perplexed many, including White, who took aim at ‘The Golden Boy’ during an appearance on The Jim Rome Show

“The nuttiest whack job on earth,” the chief said of De La Hoya.

“This guy, I don’t know if this guy is hitting the yayo and the booze again, or what his deal is, but this guy is on another planet. I have zero respect for this guy.”

“Mayweather vs McGregor was a complete disrespect to the sport of boxing, it was disgusting, He was ‘f**k you’ and all this stuff on Twitter like a complete nut,” he recounted. “But him versus Conor McGregor is a good idea.

“This guy is a complete nut.”
