Donald Trump blasts WRONG Theresa May in SHOCK gaff – Twitter user blames his ‘tiny hands’

The US President told the Prime Minister to focus on the UK and not him after Downing Street said he was “wrong” to re-tweet a video from far-right group Britain First.

Worried Twitter users pointed out Trump has control of “the nuclear codes” after he tweeted the wrong Theresa May and instead directed his vitriol at Theresa Scrivener, who only has six followers.

wrote: “Theresa @theresamay, don’t focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!”

The US President deleted the tweet and then reposted another attack with the correct Twitter handle.

But, this did not go unnoticed by a furious Twitter community.

Bill Faria said: “Jesus, and this is the guy with the nuclear codes LET THAT SINK IN.”

Tim Inches added: “It’s surprisingly hard to pry his phone out of his tiny hands.”

Danielle jibed: “Bro, learn Twitter. @theresamay with 6 followers notifications blowing up right now.”

Mark Troublefield added: “Your President tagged the wrong Theresa May! If you’re going to call out a world leader, at least make sure you get the right one.

displays what Dr Martin Luther King Jr. calls the two most dangerous things on the planet: conscientious stupidity and sincere ignorance.”

Oliver Westwood attacked the PM and said: “I bet she will still be more responsive than the real Theresa May though.”

used Twitter to retweet videos of from the far right group which appears to show Muslims committing crimes.

Downing Street previously released a statement condemning the tweets saying “it is wrong for the President to have done this”.

Trump retweeted three posts by Britain First’s Deputy Leader Jayda Fransen to his 43.6million followers.

His actions faced widespread criticism from UK politicians who were furious that he appeared to endorse the group’s political beliefs.

Cabinet minister Sajid Javid, who was brought up in a Muslim family, used Twitter himself to criticise the President’s apparent support for the radical right group.

He said: “So POTUS has endorsed the views of a vile, hate-filled racist organisation that hates me and people like me. He is wrong and I refuse to let it go and say nothing.”

Fransen, 31, was found guilty of religiously aggravated harassment in November 2016.

She was told to pay almost £2,000 in fines and costs after a court heard she wore a “political uniform” and hurled abuse at a hijab-wearing Muslim in Luton, Bedfordshire.
