Jimi Manuwa EXCLUSIVE: Conor McGregor has done this for ALL UFC stars

The number four ranked light heavyweight is a keen admirer of the Notorious, long before he turned his hand to boxing.

However, it was McGregor who broke barriers to put on a super-show against legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor lost the fight by TKO in the 10th round, but won the heart of millions with his spirited display.

And Manuwa believes that the Irishman has opened the door for all of UFC to try their hand in the ring with his performance.

“I think there needs to be more of it,” betsafe.com ambassador Manuwa told Express Sport.

“MMA fighters are the best fighters in the world – bar none.

“We can hold our own in any of the combat sports be it karate, kick-boxing, boxing.

“Conor is one of a kind.

“He is a great athlete all round. He is a great spokesman for the sport and he has just raised the profile for everyone and opened doors for everyone.

“To be able to cross over and do what they like and be their own boss in the sport.”

Manuwa has already expressed his desire to step into the ring and he has recently called out injured fighter David Haye.

But why does he want to deviate into the unknown?

“It’s probably the money,” he admitted.
