Justice League: Deathstroke star REVEALS which Batman comic he wants adapted into a movie

Last year the 40-year-old was cast as DC villain Deathstroke and finally debuted in Justice League.

Joe appeared only briefly in the end credits scene with Lex Luthor star Jesse Eisenberg, but it’s certainly a teaser for his involvement in future movies.

In what capacity though? First he was going to be in Ben Affleck’s Batman solo movie, now neither of them may be in it.

However a was announced last month with The Raid director Gareth Evans said to be in talks to direct.

Of course Batman could feature in some capacity, played by Affleck or not.

And now Joe has revealed which Batman comic would be his personal choice.

He said: “If something were to come my way, in that way, I would happily accept it.

“I was a fan of DC comics and I’m a big fan of Geoff Johns’ Batman: Earth One, which was a really great series. For anyone who’s a comics fan who hasn’t read it, I highly recommend it.”

The lack of Deathstroke in Batman: Earth One is puzzling but Johns is a DCEU producer, so it could make sense story wise.

After all, the Batman solo movie has been teased as a detective noir film, so very much grounded like Batman: Earth One.
