Pokemon Go news: Niantic catches Black Friday 2017 bug with new SALE

developer Niantic appears to have caught the Black Friday bug, as a new sale hits the in-game store.

Pokemon Go fans can currently pick up Super Incubators for 200 PokeCoins, Special Boxes for 380 PokeCoins and Ultra Boxes for 880 PokeCoins.

Costing only 50 PokeCoins more than regular Incubators, Super Incubators can be used to speed up egg hatch rates.

Special Boxes, meanwhile, contain 20 Great Balls, six Lucky Eggs, four Lure Modules and one Premium Raid Pass.

Finally, Ultra Boxes come with 16 Lucky Eggs, four Premium Raid Passes, eight Lure Modules and a whopping 30 Ultra Balls.

It’s Niantic’s way of encouraging players to capture more Pokemon as part of the Global Catch Challenge event.

The aim of the Global Catch Challenge is to unlock rewards by catching as many Pokemon as possible.

Fans have already unlocked the first and second tier rewards, which includes double XP, 6-hour Lure modules, double Stardust and more Pokemon in the wild.

The third and final tier of rewards will be unlocked if Trainers catch a staggering 3 billion Pokemon.

If players capture the required number of Pokemon, then regional Pokemon Farfetche’d will be available worldwide.

The news comes as Pokemon Go developer Niantic gives .

The headline changes are that Ex Raids will now primarily take place at sponsored locations and at Gyms found in parks. This is in order to make them more accessible to a greater number of people.

Likewise, Trainers with high-level Gym badges or players with lots of Raid experience will be more likely to receive Ex Raid invites for specific Gyms.

Niantic will also take into account popular Raid times when it schedules Ex Raids, while players can expect Stardust and Premium Raid passes when battles are cancelled.
