X-Men Dark Phoenix: ‘Jean Grey will MURDER one of these four MAJOR characters’

It’s the fourth movie in the X-Men prequel franchise and now it looks like one of the key players could kick the bucket.

The new movie follows The Dark Phoenix Saga comic storyline where Jean Grey loses control of her abilities.

This is something that was last seen in X-Men: The Last Stand, but can now happen again because of an alternate timeline being created in X-Men: Days of Future Past – click here if you’re confused.

Now That Hashtag Show claims it has a source who has revealed Turner’s Jean Grey will accidentally impale one of the four main characters in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

So the contenders for an untimely death are: James McAvoy’s Professor X, Michael Fassbender’s Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique and Nicholas Hoult’s Beast.

While Wolverine was a major part of the last time Jean Grey went Dark Phoenix, he won’t be a contender since Hugh Jackman bowed out of the franchise with Logan earlier this year.

And X-Men: The Last Stand may have taken place in the noughties, but X-Men Dark Phoenix will be a period piece (if you can call it that) set in 1991.

So who could it be? Well Lawrence has previously said she only returned for X-Men Dark Phoenix for the sake of the fans.

Could this be her way out by having Mystique killed off? Fans will have to wait and see.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is released on November 2, 2018.
