Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Move over Ruth Langsford! Anton Du Beke is doing THIS now

The professional dancer – who was recently eliminated from this year’s Strictly with his partner Ruth Langsford – has put his spin on Arctic Monkeys’ I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor for his upcoming debut album, which is out tomorrow.

The track is available to hear now ahead of the record’s release tomorrow – and people have been tweeting about how much they’ve enjoyed the unlikely cover.

“i love that anton du beke has covered the arctic monkeys,” one person wrote.

“honestly if that anton du beke arctic monkeys cover came out when i was 14 i’d have loved it,” said someone else.

“Hmm, not bad,” a third person wrote.

Inevitably not everybody was a fan, with one person tweeting: “Anton Du Beke singing Arctic Monkeys, what is the world coming to? Next it will be Kylie covering Anarchy In The UK.”

“Hates a strong word but I hate him,” said another rather melodramatic listener.

Du Beke’s album, From The Top, also includes input from guests Connie Fisher, The Overtones, Lance Ellington and Hayley Sanderson.

The tracklisting is as follows:

1. Putting On The Ritz
2. Me And My Shadow (with Lance Ellington)
3. Something Stupid (with Hayley Sanderson)
