Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild new update REVEALED, as fans wait for DLC release date

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been given another new update onĀ .

Patch notes are thin on the ground, but update 1.3.4 is said to introduce “various fixes to improve gameplay”.

Hopefully it’s getting things ready for The Champions’ Ballad DLC, which is currently without a release date.

However, according to a recent Nintendo eShop update, The Champions’ Ballad DLC will be released in December 2017.

Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC 2 once again puts players in control of Link, although Nintendo will reveal more about Zelda along the way.

DLC 2 also adds a new dungeon, an original story, and more new challenges.

The previous Breath of the Wild update added a brand new side quest and costume to the game.

Players can unlock Xenoblade Chronicles 2 armour by visiting three locations at night and looking for a red shooting star.

Completing the mission unlocks a brand new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 armour set for Link.

Update 1.3.3 also adds support for Zelda Breath of the Wild Champions amiibo.

The four Champions provide players with different boosts, from electricity and cold resistance to flame guard and increased swim speed.

The free Xenoblade Chronicles DLC was announced during the last Direct conference.

Nintendo explains: “To help familiarise fans with main character Rex before the game launches, a new Side Quest will be available via a free update in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, in which players will be able to obtain a Rex costume for Link.”

Nintendo also announced plans to release a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 season pass.

The expansion pass adds a new challenge battle mode, new items and a brand new side-story.
