boss Paul Heckingbottom is sweating on his fitness ahead of Saturday’s clash against Yorkshire rivals Leeds.

“Bradders was involved in a car accident last night (Wednesday), so he is going to miss training, but hopefully he will be alright,” Heckingbottom said.

“It was a nasty one and his car was written off.

“He has got a bruised back and things like that, so he won’t be training today. But he is adamant that he will be alright (for Saturday).

“Sometimes, the stiffness and soreness comes the day after, but hopefully he will be ok.”

Angus MacDonald (foot) has returned to training and should be available for Leeds’ visit to Oakwell.

Mamadou Thiam, Ryan Hedges and Zeki Fryers are doubts after picking up knocks in Tuesday’s defeat to Cardiff.

Lloyd Isgrove (knee) will definitely be unavailable on Saturday.

striker Caleb Ekuban could start amid uncertainty around Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s fitness.

Whites head coach Thomas Christiansen said: ”Everything is possible, everything is possible.

“Of course Ronaldo will be out, we need to make at least one change and we are going to see which is the change that we are going to do and try to make the best decision.”
