North Korea ex-prisoner mysteriously DIES after body found ON FIRE in San Diego

Aijalon M. Gomes, 38, was an American teacher who had been imprisoned in North Korea for illegally entering the country via China.

The man, whose release from the corrupt regime was secured by former President Jimmy Carter, was found ablaze in a field in San Diego last Friday night.

Police said the manner and cause of death cannot be confirmed until the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office completes its investigation, but it is being considered accidental death or suicide.

The leader of the communist state, Kim Jong-un, has previously been suspected of having North Korean dissidents killed off, although he has denied some of the allegations.

At the start of this year the despot’s half brother, who was a vocal critic of the evil regime, was killed after being sprayed in the face with the nerve agent VX.

However, while Kim Jong-un claims he was not behind that attack, it is known that he had his uncle Jang Song Thaek executed by the corrupt state in 2014 on charges of treason.

While the account of his execution cannot be verified, it was widely reported at the time, that he had been stripped naked and fed to 120 dogs while officials watched.

Mr Gomes’s mother Jacqueline McCarthy has paid tribute to her son after his death over the weekend.

She said: “My son was a very good human being.

“He loved people. He loved his family.”

Mr Gomes was arrested for trespassing in North Korea in 2010 and the evil country refused to release him unless former President Jimmy Carter personally flew to collect him.

However, the American agreed to the North’s request and Mr Gomes was allowed to return home.

The announcement of Mr Gomes death comes after President Trump decided to list North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Announcing his decision the US leader said: “The United States is designating North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism. Should have happened a long time ago.”

Mr Trump said the death of Kim Jong-un’s half brother was one of the reasons for adding the country to the list.

Mr Trump also mentioned student Otto Warmbier, 22, who died after being returned from North Korean detention to the US in an unconscious state.

He had been sentenced to 15 years hard labour after confessing to trying to steal a banner.
