Call of Duty WW2 PS4 and Xbox One UPDATE as fans look for Black Friday 2017 deals

Sledgehammer Games recently launched a new Call of Duty WW2 update for PS4 and Xbox One.

It turned out to be a pretty important one as it help bring the game’s servers back up to scratch.

The game has been struggling since launch to provide stable connections for players online, although this problem has been getting better.

And now with the return of dedicated servers, things appear to be looking up.

“As mentioned yesterday afternoon, the game update on console last night improved Gamebattles matchmaking on Dedicated Servers,” Sledgehammer explains.

“Continuing testing on all platforms and generating fixes. Be on the lookout for upcoming Game Updates.”

When these new Call of Duty WW2 updates will arrive haven’t been announced, although a new one has recently launched on PC.

Here are the latest changes for PC players, including Call of Duty WW2 patch notes:

  • Fixed an issue where the Daily Login Reward popup was not showing up correctly after initially breaking the login streak.
  • Fixed an issue where certain game modes were not counting towards objective wins
  • Increased the time in which players can load back into the game lobby before timing out
  • Security improvements
  • Fixed an issue with entering the Headquarters after leaving the Store
  • Additional fixes and improvements with the Quartermaster

COD fans who have yet to buy the new game are also looking for new Black Friday deals including it.

GAME has revealed a host of brand new deals on titles like Overwatch, Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein 2.

There are also discounts on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles and bundles.

GAME’s full list of Black Friday deals will go live on November 23, both in store and online.

“Black Friday 2017 will be an online and in-store event,” reads a GAME post.

“If you’re planning on popping down to your local GAME store, we recommend arriving that little bit earlier to avoid disappointment. After all, once the deals are gone, they’re gone for good.”

To get the best deals, GAME recommends setting up an online account, using social media to track offers, bookmarking retail pages, setting up a realistic budget and signing up to newsletters.
