Justice League: CONFIRMED deleted scene reveals MAJOR Cyborg backstory

The character has been mentioned in many reviews as being severely under-developed, and reduced to mere exposition.

But Fisher has revealed that there was more to the character – it just ended on the cutting room floor.

He told GameSpot: “There were some things that you’ll probably end up seeing later on, that didn’t make it into this version of the film.

“There’s a scene with Victor Stone, when he still was Victor Stone, and his mother, that was really special to shoot.”

A Cyborg film is apparently set for 2020, alongside Flashpoint – and the the character’s story is only just starting to be seeded in Justice League, according to Fisher.

“What is great about this film going forward is you’ll be able to see him rebuild himself mentally the same way that his father rebuilt him physically,” Fisher teased.

“And it’s a process that’s going to take time.”

For now, Justice League is out today on a sea of negative reviews.

The movie has amassed a Rotten Tomatoes score of under 40%, putting it only marginally above Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman.

It’s a disappointing u-turn for DC, after Wonder Woman got a hefty 92% over the summer.

Justice League is out now.
