Justice League TWO end credits scenes: One reveals TWO villains, one is a treat for fans

Jason Momoa already warned fans that they should not leave their seats until the end of the credits have rolled.

This started an immediate frenzy of speculation that Green Lantern would finally be revealed.

Now that the movie has finally opened in cinemas, a new round of theories have started about what the big reveal actually means for the upcoming DCEU movies.

The two villains seen in the closing scene have given fresh hope for the futures of both the Superman and Batman standalone movies.

WARNING MAJOR SPOILERS

The first scene takes place as the credits start rolling.

It is a sheer delight for true comicbook fans who know that Superman and The Flash have an ongoing friendly rivalry about who is actually the fastest. Once again, it also shows the joy that an unleashed and happier Caped Crusader brings to the franchise.

Whatever the critics may say, Zack Snyder and his team have always delivered moments that directly respect and celebrate the source material.

The second scene has far greater significance for the future of the franchise. Stop reading now if you don’t want to know what happens.

The chilling scene shows Lex Luthor has escaped. He invites Deathstroke onto his yacht and offers him a terrifying proposition.

This is a major moment for many reasons. Firstly, it introduces Joe Manganiello officially as Deathstoke and the rugged star looks suitable menacing (and almost unrecognisable).

Lex suggests that since the heroes now have their own team, perhaps the vilains should start their own league.

Fans will know this is a reference to the League of Evil, or Legion of Doom. One of the members is Black Manta, who is already confirmed for the Aquaman solo outing.

The appearance of Deathstroke may actually dim hopes for a Batman solo movie. The Wrap recently revealed that Deathstroke had departed that movie for his own project.

Does the sight of Lex mean a Superman sequel is finally on the way? Again, recent DCEU reporst suggest not. Lex may, instead, be moving into the Deathstroke movie.
