Infinity War trailer news: Release date REVEALED and it is SOON

Fans had been hoping that the Avengers 3 trailer would finally arrive with Disney’s latest animated smash. Coco will be released in the US on November 22, but a major film source has just punctured those hopes.

Former IGN writer Jeremy Is All In has tweeted the massive news everyone has been waiting for, ever since that first tantalising footage was shown at the Disney D23 Expo over the summer.

He wrote: “Looks like the early December Infinity War trailer date is confirmed.”

Even better, he actually went on to reveal a date.

Fans immediately swarmed his Twitter page with questions.

When one asked him to confirm whether the Infinity war trailer would be held back until the release of The Last Jedi on December 14 (December 15 in the US), he told fans to expect it to be released across the internet over a week earlier than that.

He tweeted: “Online around the fourth (of December), in theatres with Star Wars.”

This certainly fits the Disney pattern of dropping major trailers on a Monday night in the US, usually during a major football game.

already hit the internet earlier today.

They showed Captain America as Nomad, as well as Drax, Black Widow and the potential first look at Thanos’ daughter Proxima Midnight.

There had been much specualtion that the trailer was being held back until the release of Thor Ragnarok to avoid revealing spoilers from that movie. Now that fans have seen the movie, it has cast massive doubts on the scenes that were leaked from the footage shown at D23, notably where they concerned Thor’s eye.

WARNING: SPOILERS

Fans who have seen Ragnarok will know that Hela wounds Thor badly and he loses his eye, liek his father before him.

The leaked footage from D23 shows Thor crash into the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is clearly shown with two good eyes.

Is the trailer a fake? Will Marvel reshoot these scenes? Is this yet another marvellous Marvel timeline conundrum?
