Galaxy S9 ‘leaked’ images show two reasons why Samsung fans should be very excited

new Galaxy S9 may outshine the award-winning if these latest leaked images turn out to be real.

This next generation smartphone could launch as earlier as February 2018 with plenty of rumours to suggest Samsung will use Mobile World Congress to unveil all.

MWC kicks off on February 26 meaning the new Galaxy S9 could arrive within the next few months.

And, with the official revealing getting ever closer, the leaks and rumours are coming thick and fast.

There’s already plenty of speculation that the Galaxy S9 will have tucked inside, which should make it the fastest Android phone ever.

It’s thought Samsung may get exclusive use of this processor for the early part of next year meaning many manufacturers won’t be able to feature it until later in 2018.

So things are clearly going to be upgraded on the inside of the S9 but a latest set of images could also show some changes are coming to the design of this new smartphone.

The 3D renders have been published by SlashLeaks and show the S9 may have a very similar curved screen to the current S8.

However, it’s on the rear case where things could be about to get much more exciting.

The images appear to show a new dual-lens camera which is likely to allow the S9 to add DSLR-style depth of field to images take on the phone.

The new Galaxy Note 8 already includes a dual-lens snapper, which can even change the intensity of effects after the image taken, but this would be the first time such a camera has appeared on the S series of phones.

A dual-lens camera would make sure the S9 kept up with the competition with many flagships, such as the iPhone X, featuring this technology.

Along with this new camera there is also another improvement shown on the render.

Samsung has come under huge criticism for its fingerprint scanner placement on the S8 and Note 8 which sits alongside the camera lens.

If these images are true it seems Samsung has finally decided to move this vital sensor to a position underneath the camera making it much easier to find.

Clearly, it’s too early to know if any of these rumours are true but it could be an exciting year ahead for Samsung fans.
