Kate Middleton news: Pregnant Duchess of Cambridge HIDES growing baby bump in large coat

Kate Middleton, 35, stepped out in a cream swing coat as she visited a children’s centre in London today.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been scheduled to visit the centre in Hornsey, north London, back in September, but had to cancel as she as suffering from severe morning sickness.

It was thanks to this her and Prince William were forced to reveal they were expecting their third child much earlier than they would have liked.

Today Kate was all smiles as she made her way into the charity-run centre, a trip she was making without her husband.

Keeping her look casual, Kate wore thick black tights and flat black suede knee-high boots.

A black dress could be seen peeping out underneath her long coat.

The cream coat was loose fitting and kept Kate’s baby bump well hidden from waiting cameras.

As always, the Duchess wore her glossy hair in a pristine bouncy blowdry, choosing a side-parting today.

Kate has been wearing looser clothing recently, covering her bump again during another solo charity visit earlier this month.

Kate stepped out wearing a long-sleeved burgundy dress by Goat, which featured silver buttons running up one shoulder.

She covered up from the cold with a pair of black tights and matched the dress with a pair of black block heel shoes.

The Duchess accesorised with a small black clutch bag, which she has been known in the past to use for sneaky manouevres.

Kate is rarely seen without a clutch bag at official engagements, and according to an expert in etiquette there is a reason why.

Myka Meier, the founder of Beaumont Etiquette, told Good Housekeeping the Duchess holds her bag in front of her in both hands when shaking hands might be awkward.

While a clutch bag might be a good excuse to avoid uncomfortable situations, there is a host of things the Duchess needs to remember to do when holding them.

But today she held her bag down by her side, using her coat to stay covered instead.
