‘SICK’ Indonesian museum lets children pose for photos with ADOLF HITLER

A life-size wax sculpture of the Nazi leader, along with a wall-sized photo of Auschwitz has been placed in the entrance of an entertainment museum called De Mata.

At least 1.1million Jews were killed by the Nazis at Auschwitz between 1940 and 1945.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper from the US Simon Wiesenthal Center has slammed the museum for the sculpture.

He said: “Everything about it is wrong. It’s hard to find words for how contemptible it is.

“The background is disgusting. It mocks the victims who went in and never came out.”

Human Rights Watch has also criticised the installation, calling it “sickening“.

But, despite the exhibition appearing to make light of the millions of people who were tortured by Hitler, the museum has defended its actions.

A marketing officer said Hitler was “one of the favourites for our visitors to take selfies with”.

The museum claimed they had not had any complaints from visitors about the wax sculpture and said: “Most of our visitors are having fun because they know this is just an entertainment museum.”

The museum also said it would leave it for the public to determine the future of the Hitler statue.

A spokesperson said: “We will follow the best advice and the response from the public. Let people judge whether the character is good or bad.”
