Kim Jong-un’s regime blasted the US President following fiery speeches during his visits to North Korea’s closest neighbours.
He was accused of begging for World War 3 on his diplomatic tour of South-East Asia.
A foreign ministry spokesman told the state news agency: “Trump’s current trip to our surrounding region is a warmonger’s visit for confrontation to rid the DPRK of its self-defensive nuclear deterrence.
“It is also nothing but a business trip by a warmonger to enrich the monopolies of the U.S. defence industry by milking the moneybags from its subordinate ‘allies’.
“Trump, during his visit, laid bare his true nature as destroyer of the world peace and stability and begged for a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula.”
The statement blasts Trump for “lunatic remarks” about destroying North Korea at the UN General Assembly in September.
It accuses him of stoking tensions between North Korea and the international community, “demonising” the secretive dictatorship and trying to turn citizens against the government.
It continues: “The DPRK’s possession of nuclear weapons was a righteous and inevitable choice to defend our national sovereignty and dignity and our people’s rights to existence and development from increased nuclear threats and blackmail by the U.S. and its hostile moves against the DPRK.
“Time is now gone forever when the U.S. used to threaten and blackmail us with nuclear weapons.
“The reckless remarks by a dotard like Trump can never frighten us or put a stop to our advance.”
The foreign ministry official vows North Korea will lay waste to the US and claim victory in any nuclear conflict.
