Melania Trump reveals what she REALLY thinks about being First Lady while in China

Melania Trump, 47, has achieved a great deal over the years, particularly in the world of modelling.

But she would have perhaps never thought that 12 years later after marrying Donald Trump she would become First Lady of the US.

The Slovenian-born assumed her position as First Lady of the United states on January 20 this year, after Donald was elected president just a little over a year ago.

But after being catapulted into such a high position of power, what does Melania really think of being First Lady?

During an interview with CNN on Friday, while standing in Mutianyu on the Great Wall of China, Melania revealed what she really thinks of her First Lady role.

The interviewer asked how she felt, one year on from President Trump’s election, being First Lady.

Standing calm and collected Melania answered: “It’s my honour to be a First Lady of the United States. It was a very busy year and we love to live in Washington we have a very busy life and it’s exciting as well and I’m looking forward to work on behalf of the children.

It’s a very exciting life and it’s a lot of things you need to take care of – a lot of responsibilities – and it’s part of being a First Lady.”

She made sure to wrap up warm by wearing a black polo neck sweater and a grey midi length wool skirt, and she threw a black coat over her shoulders to be extra snug.

She broke up the outfit with a wide baby pink belt which featured a stud and cut out design.

Melania and Donald have already visited Japan and South Korea on the tour.
