WORST Xbox One deal EVER goes live ahead of Currys’ Black Friday sale

Currys is advertising a new S deal ahead of this year’s Black Friday sales.

But this is one deal that customers will want to avoid due to its high price tag.

Potentially one of the worst deals ever, Currys is selling a 500GB Xbox One S with four games and a spare controller for £1,000.

Games include Forza Horizon 3, Call of Duty WW2, Quantum Break and Halo 5.

There’s some confusion about the size of the hard drive, with the box saying 1TB, while the description says 500GB.

But even with a 1TB hard drive, the Xbox One S bundle is massively overpriced.

Xbox One S Forza 3 bundles are available for £229 (500 GB) or £299 (1TB) from Argos. Additional games can cost as much as £60 each (at the very most), while a spare controller can be picked up for £50.

It’s possible that the bundle was posted in error, and that the actual price is much lower.

Express Online has contacted Currys to find out if the deal is genuine or if it has been incorrectly priced.

At the time of writing, there’s also an Assassin’s Creed Origins bundle for £999.

The prices would make more sense if the bundles included Microsoft’s ultra-powerful Xbox One X.

A potential PS4 Pro killer, Microsoft’s swish new console launches with a £449 price tag in the UK.

The CPU is said to be 30% faster than that of the original Xbox One, while the GPU is 4.6 times more powerful than its predecessor.

The end result are games that run smoother, load faster and look better than ever before.
