This might be the best OnePlus 5T rumour yet

OnePlus 5T is .

The next-generation handset will keep a very similar industrial design to the OnePlus 5, which sported a dual-camera and curved aluminium case.

However, the OnePlus 5T will eschew the 5.5inch AMOLED display used by its predecessor in favour of a new edge-to-edge six-inch AMOLED with a 18:9 aspect ratio.

, up from the 1920 x 1080 pixels on the OnePlus 5.

Following in the footsteps of the Galaxy S8, Pixel 2 XL and iPhone X, OnePlus will not increase the physical footprint of the phone despite the larger display.

Instead the bezels around the display will be thinned to fit the new screen.

OnePlus is also widely-tipped to drop the physical Home Button from the front of the phone to create space for the display.

The fingerprint sensor will be relocated to the back of the phone, housed below the OnePlus logo.

Thankfully, despite the all-new edge-to-edge display, OnePlus is rumoured to keep the same price tag as the OnePlus 5.

Technology blog TechRadar has spied confidential documents that appear to confirm the OnePlus 5T will launch with identical pricing as its predecessor in the UK.

TechRadar says the documents show the price of buying the new phone bought through a business plan on the O2 network.

However, since the price is exactly the same as the OnePlus 5, the technology blog suggests it will be the same for consumers too.

According to TechRadar, prices for models with either 64GB or 128GB of in-built storage were the only ones available, purportedly quashing previous rumours of a 256GB model.

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 5T at an exclusive media event in New York on November 16th.

The Chinese smartphone startup has already confirmed the new phone will be available to buy via mobile carriers and SIM-free from November 21st.

Express.co.uk will have all of the latest news and opinions as soon as the OnePlus 5T launches next week.
