Justice League Aquaman star Jason Momoa reveals most EMBARRASSING moment EVER on set

Momoa may look a little intimidating but he showed his hilarious side on The Graham Norton show this evening on BBC1.

As well as prancing around with his giant trident – or ‘quindent’ in his case, the big show off – he charmed his fellow guests with a particularly embarrassing anecdote from the Aquaman set.

Hugh Grant, Kelly Clarkson and Sarah Millican roared with laughter as the US star let rip with a fishy tale about… letting rip.

Momoa and his fellow Justice League stars are on a huge global charm offensive as thier blockbuster prepares to storm cinemas next week.

Momoa revealed that filming the Aquaman spin-off movie in the freezing waters of Iceland had unexpected side-effects.

Not only was he half naked in an icy lake, it looked like he was constantly farting.

He said: “The water was so cold that I was wearing a very thin wetsuit from the waist down so I didn’t freeze to death. But as I walked out into the water air bubbles started rising up to my waist.  It was as though I was farting and I just couldn’t stop giggling as I tried to act!”

Momoa’s dedication to his craft also got him into much hotter water with his wife another time.

He said: “When I was doing Conan the Barbarian I went all ‘method’ and had some stupid idea to copy what Marlon Brando did in A Streetcar Named desire by asking a friend to punch me in the face for authenticity.

“I did that and it broke my nose and my wife was furious.  She met me before I bashed up my face and got scars and I was much better looking!”

The fun-loving star also revealed at the recent London Justice League press conference that almost got into trouble with Ben Affleck on set.

He told the audience: “I’m a bit of a big kid, and I kind of geeked out just walking around Ben [Affleck] and pulling on his cape. It’s just surreal that I’m even here playing this guy and around these guys. When you see us all up there, you’ll feel the same way!”

Affleck was on stage at the same event and joked: “And I was like, “Who the f*** keeps pulling on my cape?”
