Eddie Hearn makes SHOCK revelation on location of Anthony Joshua’s next fight

The Londoner’s promoter Eddie Hearn has today been in negotiations with American boxer Deontay Wilder about a unification bout next year.

And a plan was discussed to hold a double-header – with one fight in the UK and one in the USA.

Both fighters have openly stated their desire for the bout.

And with the duo now clear to pick a fight of their choosing, after seeing off their mandatory belt challengers, locations are being discussed at length as the pieces of the jigsaw begin to come together.

“There are lots of different permutations right now, different venue options as well, talk of one fight in America and one in the UK,” Hearn told Sky Sports.

“But also the understanding that this is a huge fight and one we must get made in 2018.

“It will be the most talked-about event the world over – 59-0 with 58 KOs between them. We’re all excited because we love boxing.

“We want to make the big fights but also make great business; we have to do what’s right for our clients.

“But Joshua wants this fight bad and so does Wilder.”
