Star Wars 8 Last Jedi: Answers to ‘big questions’ CONFIRMED – Rey’s parents? Snoke?

Speaking to The Star Wars Show, in additional footage from the interview that initially debuted last week, Kennedy said some of the series’ newest mysteries will have answers.

Of course, she did not specify which – but matters such as Rey’s parentage, Supreme Leader Snoke’s identity and Luke’s relationship to the Dark Side have all been big talking points.

“I think [Rian Johnson, director] has done an exceptional job of taking these new characters and some of the legacy characters and moving us to this next place,” Kennedy said.

“He doesn’t answer all the questions, I will say that out front.

“But there are certain questions he does answer in a really wonderfully provocative way, and I think there will be some surprises people won’t be expecting.”

Kennedy also teased an adorable moment involving Johnson’s new creations, the Porgs.

“There’s a brief moment where there’s a Porg and then a baby Porg,” she cooed. “It doesn’t get better than that.”

Adam Driver has also been chatting about the upcoming movie, and his role as Kylo Ren.

“It makes complete sense how juvenile he can be,” he told GQ. “You can see that with our leadership and politics.

“You have world leaders who you imagine — or hope or pray — are living by kind of a higher code of ethics. But it really all comes down to them feeling wronged or unloved or wanting validation.”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK.
