Saiz, who joined the Whites for a fee in the region of £3.5m, has been one of the club’s more successful signings since Orta’s arrival at the club in March.
He said: “The sporting director of Leeds, Victor Orta, was following me a long time and every player likes to feel loved.
“Leeds, even if it is in second (division), is a great club with a lot of history.
“In Elland Road there are always 40,000 people cheering us and away from home they take almost 5,000.”
Leeds are targeting a return to the Premier League, after a 13-season absence outside the top flight.

The Whites made a fine start to the season but have lost six of their last seven games to drop out of the Championship play-off spots.
Pressure is building on head coach Thomas Christiansen as a result of their poor form, but Saiz is dreaming of a memorable campaign.
He told Marca: “After 13 seasons out of the Premier, they would remember it here for years.
“The main objective is to climb, it would be incredible to go up.”
