Thor Ragnarok: Fan FURY over fate of The Warriors Three – Did Marvel make a HUGE mistake?

There was already considerable unhappiness about the absence of Lady Sif in the latest blockbuster.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige had rather causally dismissed the female warrior and her companions, The Warriors Three, by saying that Loki had probbaly banished them out of the way to avoid anyone uncovering his masquerade as Odin.

Now that the film has been released fans have seen what really happens to Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg – and they are not happy.

It is not just what happens in the film, but the lack of “emotional depth” around the major moment which has upset fans.

The main trailer already previewed a terrifying confrontation between Hogun and the main villain, Hela.

Things did not look good for the Asgard defender but nobody expected all three of Thor’s dearest friends to be killed off – and with so little fanfare.

One fan wrote: “Didn’t it bother you how little emotional depth it had? I found most of the characters annoying as a result.”

Another answered: “A little bit, but I thought it’d be worse. The Warriors Three was where I felt that the most.”

One said: “Although I really did enjoy Thor Ragnorak, the Warriors Three definitely deserved better. Not just in this movie but in all 3 Thor films.”

Another added: “Just sad that they kill off the Warriors Three and where the hell was Lady Sif?”

Many agreed that it wasn’t just the dismissive way they were killed but the fact that not even Thor seemed to ever notice or care.

A fan pointed out the issue: “I just quickly realized one slight problem with Ragnarok. Thor never, ever asked about the Warriors Three, his supposed best friends.”
