Xbox Games with Gold update: New free boost for November announced

Fans already have two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 titles available to download as part of Games with Gold November 2017.

While the titles from October may have been recently removed, Xbox Live users can now grab a new roster of games.

These include:

  • Trackmania Turbo: Available November 1 to 30 on Xbox One
  • Tales from the Borderlands: Available November 16 to December 15 on Xbox One
  • Nights into Dreams…: Available November 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
  • Deadfall Adventure: Available November 16 to 30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360

As usual, these will be timed games that will become available on either November 1, or November 16.

It should be noted that all four titles are playable on Xbox One, due to the Backwards Compatibility program.

This also extends to the Xbox One X, which is being launched next week, although, none of the above listed games will boast enhanced patches.

And Microsoft have also revealed another Xbox Games with Gold bonus for November.

It has now been confirmed that popular MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online, will be available to try out for free this weekend.

The new timed event begins tomorrow and looks set to include all the game’s base content.

“The Xbox One Free Play Days event runs from November 2 until November 5,” a message from Zenimax explains.

“If you’re a new player, this is a great opportunity to check out the game and experience a world where you can go anywhere and do anything.

“Even better, all new ESO accounts are gifted 500 free crowns for use in the in-game Crown Store, allowing you to pick up some useful items such as potions, XP Scrolls, food, or an adorable pet.

“If you’ve played ESO during previous free-play events for your platform, you’ll find that any previous characters and progression will remain. Continue your adventures in Tamriel as if you never left.

“In order to participate in the Xbox One Free Play event, you will also need an Xbox Live Gold account.

“In addition to enjoying ESO for free, you can also sign up for our 10 Million Stories Sweepstakes promotion for a chance to win amazing real-world and in-game prizes

The announcement also confirms that the Elder Scrolls Online will be made free-to-play in similar way on both PS4 and PC in the coming weeks.

One downside to this weekend’s free run is that the full game download will weigh in at a hefty 80GB.

That’s a lot for a limited-time demo but will at least mean that players can upgrade if they want and not have to sit through another massive update.
