PS4 games news: Sony has ANOTHER amazing Bloodborne surprise for fans

Bloodborne fans have been given more good news by Sony.

While it’s not the  sequel everybody is hoping for, Sony has teamed up with Titan to release a Bloodborne comic book.

Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep has a February 2018 release date, and will be written by Ales Kot, whose previous credits include Generation Gone and Zero.

Artwork will be provided by Wolfenstein and Dark Souls comic book artist Piotr Kowalski.

The story revolves around a nameless hunter who seeks to escape from the endless Night of the Hunt.

“A nameless Hunter awakens in an ancient city where horrific beasts stalk the shadows and the streets run slick with the blood of the damned,” reads the official description.

“Seeking an escape from the endless Night of the Hunt, the Hunter embarks upon a dangerous, gore-filled quest with the hopes of ending Yharnam’s twisted endemic.”

It’s the second major Bloodborne surprise, following Sony and Insert Coin Clothing’s announcement of a .

Insert Coin has just announced plans to release a new range of Bloodborne accessories in November.

This includes long sleeve and short sleeve T-shirts, as well as black hoodies with Yharnam City Hunters on the back.

The Bloodborne clothing range is expected to launch at the start of November, although fans can pre-order items now. T-shirts start at £22, while hoodies cost £40.

It’s not Bloodborne 2 for PS4, but it should keep fans happy until Sony announces the inevitable sequel.

Bloodborne developer From Software previously said that it had .

Hopefully this means that Bloodborne 2, Demon’s Souls 2 or maybe even Dark Souls 4 could be announced before the end of the year.

Interestingly, Bloodborne producers Teruyuki Toriyama and Masaaki Yamagiwa said that one of the studio’s new games would likely launch in 2017, although this now seems unlikely.

The developer is also working on new game ideas, which could mean that its planning to expand its current list of IPs with an all-new game.

Fans were hopeful of something at Paris Games Week, but now all eyes are on PSX.
