SNES Classic Mini UPDATE – Here’s where you can get stock TODAY

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition has been notoriously hard to buy, with stock getting snapped up quick whenever it’s become available.

SNES Classic Mini fans in the UK endured a dry spell of around one and a half weeks soon after launch where there was no stock available to buy.

But now thankfully more stock is starting to filter through, with the pint-sized console appearing in stores and online.

One leading retailer has tweeted today to say they have SNES Classic Mini stock available in store, but it’s sure to get snapped up fast.

HMV on Oxford Street have tweeted to say they have limited stock available for the SNES Classic Mini.

The store’s official account tweeted this morning: “BACK IN STOCK!

“#SNESMini with 21 classic games built in.

“Limited stock! Doors open at 9am #Nintendo #SNES”.

The store is in a prime location in the capital, so stock is sure to go fast.

If you’re thinking of heading down to HMV Oxford Street, make sure you tweet or call them before heading down to check stock is still available.

HMV isn’t the only placed that has tweeted recently to say they have SNES Classic Mini stock available.

A number of GAME stores in the past 24 hours have tweeted to say they have the SNES Classic Mini available to buy in-store.

These branches are as follows:

• GAME Aberdeen

• GAME Carlisle

• GAME Croydon

• GAME Darlington

• GAME East Kilbride

• GAME Eltham

• GAME Ilford

• GAME Gorewood Cross

• GAME Kingston

• GAME Southend

• GAME Sutton

• GAME White Rose

These GAME stores may have sold out of the SNES Classic Mini since tweeting their stock alert.

Tweet or call these branches if you’re thinking of heading down to avoid any disappointment.

The SNES Classic Mini stock news comes as one stat has emerged which seems to show why the pint-sized console is so difficult to find.

In a new financial report, Nintendo gave an update on how well the SNES Classic Mini has sold.

Unsurprisingly, the answer is extremely well.

Within a month of being on sale, the SNES Classic Mini has sold a hugely impressive two million units worldwide.

In comparison, the Switch sold 4.7million units within its first three months on sale.

The stat shows the SNES Classic Mini is flying off the shelves, despite its limited stock availability.

However, for fans tempted to pay extortionate prices from scalpers on eBay – they should resist the urge.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime previously assured fans about stock availability.

In a past interview with the Financial Times, he said that Nintendo had “dramatically increased” production for the SNES Classic Mini.

Reggie told gamers not to pay above the RRP for a SNES Classic Mini and suggested the console Wwill be widely available.

He said: “I would strongly urge you not to over-bid on an SNES Classic on any of the auction sites . . . You shouldn’t [have to] pay more than $79.99.”
