Pokemon Go news: Shiny Shuppet update as Halloween event end nears

A new Shiny Shuppet has been spotted in the wild by Trainers.

It’s the big Pokemon Go news of the week as fans get ready for the end of the Halloween event.

It’s been a pretty successful seasonal event for Niantic, how appear to have got the balance right between bonuses and reveals.

The Shiny Shuppet update was confirmed by Trainers today, although another confirmation could quickly follow.

It appears that Shiny Banette may have also been launched, another big boost for those hoping to fill out their variant collection.

It should be noted that a normal Shuppet is covered by a gray cloth, while the shiny sports a light grey colored one.

A normal Banette is dark gray, while the shiny version is more teal.

And for those who are interested in catching both, now is the best time to do it.

Both are available at a higher spawn rate during the Pokemon Go Halloween event, which is nearing its end.

The Halloween celebration started on October 20 and is scheduled to finish on November 2.

This means that Trainers in the UK have until Thursday, at around 9pm, GMT, to grab as many Shiny catch chances as possible.

Until then, you’ll earn extra Candy while you’re out trick-or-treating with your Buddy Pokémon.

There are better Candy rewards through catching, hatching, and transferring Pokemon, while your buddy will find Candy twice as fast.

Special boxes are also from the in-game shop, featuring items such as Raid Passes and Super Incubators.

Fans can also collect a free Mimikyu Disguise Hat and catch a special Pikachu, complete with Witch’s hat.

Pokemon Go developer Niantic is also about to make changes to the latest round of Legendary Raids.

After Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia left Pokemon Go on August 31, Niantic introduced new Legendary Raids featuring Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will appear in Legendary Pokemon Raids until the end of November, but they won’t appear in the same region at the same time.

Entei is currently available in North and South America, UK players can capture Suicune, while players in Asia are able to battle Raikou.

But that all changes on October 31, when the Legendary Pokemon will change for the final time.

From October 31, UK and European players will be able to capture Raikou, North and South American Trainers can battle Suicune, while Asian fans can pick up Entei.
