November Games with Gold UPDATE: New Xbox One free titles means END for October

While PlayStation fans wait for the big PS Plus announcement, Microsoft will be switching out their current selection of free Xbox One titles, for those from the November Games with Gold collection.

Currently, fans can still download Gone Home: Console Edition for Xbox One, however, this will soon be replaced with another game.

November’s Trackmania Turbo will take its place on the first day of the month, meaning there’s less than 24hrs to grab what you need.

The other Xbox One game from October, The Turing Test, will be available until November 15.

Tales from the Borderlands will take its place on November 16, with similar stuff happening the Gold Xbox 360 games too.

Medal of Honor: Airborne is being replaced by Nights into Dreams, followed by Deadfall Adventure on November 16.

As usual, all four games are available to download on Xbox One, due to the Backwards Compatibility program.

And while it’s a good group of games to choose from it doesn’t appear that any of them will be part of the Xbox One X enhanced range of titles.

This will become more important in the months ahead, with the upgraded console launching this month.

It’s possible that Microsoft may well look to add in a few confirmed enhanced games in the future, as it will provide another incentive for gamers to buy an Xbox One X console.

Gone Home: Console Edition: “Interactive storytelling is at the heart of this award-winning, genre-defining game. Imagine coming home after a year abroad to find none of your family home.

“As you move through the house, interact with keepsakes and photographs and other clues to uncover what happened. From the creators of the recently-released Tacoma on Xbox One.”

The Turing Test: “Engage your logic skills for this first-person puzzler set on Jupiter’s moon, Europa.

“In The Turing Test, use your Energy Manipulation Tool (EMT) to transfer power in and out of many machines and giant structures that can help you as the narrative-focused story evolves.”

Trackmania Turbo: “Do you have what it takes to post the fastest lap time? With four gorgeous environments, multiple difficulty levels and 200 tracks, there’s a ton to see and do.

“There’s also the unique Double Driver mode in which two players control the same car! And let’s not forget the excellent soundtrack that reacts to your driving style.”
