Harry Styles at the Hammersmith Apollo review: Ex-One Direction star shines in gold

Though to be honest if Harry sat and sang phone numbers, it would probably still be the best night of my life.

Thankfully he didn’t.

The set list had all his new solo album and even some of the best One Direction songs, such as What Makes you Beautiful, probably the most iconic one.

The screaming reached such high decibels to the point where your ears went numb, but in a good way.

Everything was thrown at that stage, from flowers to  fruit. If you need to know, two “kiwis” were thrown on to the stage, almost causing him to slip over.

Never will you see a more grateful singer towards his fans, taking every opportunity he had to thank everyone for coming, almost unable to comprehend his fame and success.

“I’ve only got 10 songs,” he said. He even gave a shout out to the many dads in the audience saying he’d hope they all enjoyed it.

He does his bit too for equality, appreciating everyone in the auditorium in his own way by embracing the rainbow flag.

His excellent band also deserves a mention, with outstanding instrumentals and backing vocals throughout the night.

Harry’s abundant energy bounced off the audience and back at him, and the whole auditorium danced and sang all evening.

He jumped around the stage in a golden suit; a golden suit for a golden boy.
