Does Meghan Markle call Prince Harry by THIS cheeky nickname?

But like all young couples in the first flush of romance, they may well have nicknames for each other.

And if they do, there is one in particular Prince Harry was already known by in royal circles that Meghan Markle may well have picked up on.

Princess Diana, Prince Harry’s mother, used to call her youngest son “My Little Spencer”, according to website Now To Love.

This was because of his red hair, which he inherited from his mother’s side of the family.

He has also been known to use other monikers in the past, including “Spike Wells”, a name it was rumoured he used on a Facebook profile in 2012.

While he was serving in the military, Harry used the title Officer Cadet Wales.

Prince Harry is not the only one in the couple who has been known by different names throughout his life.

Meghan, whose first name is actually Rachel, revealed the details on her lifestyle blog The Tig before she shut it down earlier this year.

Responding to a question and answer sheet, Meghan said: “My nickname is Meg, MM, M&M, and Flower (which my mom has called me since I was little).”

Meghan didn’t reveal which of these nicknames Prince Harry uses – or whether the couple have private names that only they use.

Prince Harry, meanwhile, gave himself the nickname “The Funcle” on the birth of Prince George, according to The Telegraph.

While Harry and Meghan are happily together, the Suits actress has enjoyed a string of high profile romances in the past.
