Warriors: Steve Kerr confused after Draymond Green was ATTACKED

Green and Beal were both embroiled in a heated tussle that spilled over into the crowd with both sets of players entering the fracas.

The Wizards’ guard wrapped his arm around Green who reacted by grabbing his opponent before the two both fell into the front row and were ejected for their actions.

Green, who frequently garners attention from the league office for on-court issues, was fined $25,000 while Beal was handed a $50,000 fine.

But Warriors head coach Kerr couldn’t understand why his player was punished.

“I’m a little confused,” Kerr said. “I don’t know how you get fined 25 grand for being attacked.”

He added: “(There was) some curious stuff in there.

“It looked to me like Oubre came out there running into the crowd and caused a lot more.

“Draymond was the one who was attacked in the first place.

“Seems like maybe those fines could have been reversed.

“But it’s not my job, fortunately.”
