Since The Force Awakens was released two years ago, fans have been wondering who Rey’s parents are.
Now in a recent interview, it looks like co-star Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, may have accidentally given the game away.
Speaking with GQ, he spoke about what’s in store for his character, including the relationship with Rey.
Driver said: “I remember the initial conversations about having things ‘skinned’, peeling away layers to evolve into other people, and the person Kylo’s pretending to be on the outside is not who he is.”
Driver continued: “He’s a vulnerable kid who doesn’t know where to put his energy, but when he puts his mask on, suddenly, he’s playing a role.

“JJ had that idea initially and I think Rian took it to the next level.
“You have, also, the hidden identity of this princess who’s hiding who she really is so she can survive and Kylo Ren and her hiding behind these artifices.”
With Driver calling Rey a princess, could this mean that she is in fact Leia’s daughter and Kylo Ren’s sister?
DOES THIS PROVE REY WILL FIGHT LUKE IN STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI?
A popular theory among fans, this would make a lot of sense, especially with the latest trailer teasing both Kylo Ren and Rey for Snoke’s purposes. Maybe they’re even twins like Luke and Leia.
Star Wars 8 The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
