PS4 games news – Fans set for huge announcement with SEVEN new titles set to be revealed

The PS4 games list is about to get a lot bigger with seven brand new games going to be announced by Sony at Paris Games Week 2017.

The PlayStation event today will reveal seven new games heading to the PS4 and PS VR.

The official PlayStation Twitter account teased that “E3 was only half the story” ahead of the big event at Paris Games Week.

Sony revealed that new PS4 games were set to be announced in a PlayStation blog post.

They wrote: “The year is winding to a close, but PlayStation is just getting started.

“This Monday, 30th October, PlayStation’s Paris Games Week Media Showcase will begin at 4pm GMT/5pm CET, and we’re streaming all the action at playstation.com/pgw.

“But plan to tune in early at 3pm BST/4pm CET!

“We’ll begin with an introductory livestream featuring 21 game updates, including seven all-new game announcements for PS4 and PS VR.

“You won’t want to miss it.”

Sony said that afterwards at 4pm GMT / 5pm CET there will be an “exclusive new look at the next wave of huge PlayStation titles”.

Speculation will now be mounting among fans about what new games Sony may announce at Paris Games Week.

Could Sony be announcing sequels to known series or are they set to announce all new IPs?

All will be revealed soon, but some of the new games set to be announced could be titles originally slated for reveals at E3 2017.

Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida previously said Sony chose not to reveal some triple AAA games at E3 this year as they were saving them for later.

Speaking in June, he said: “There are things we have held [back], Yoshida said. “We chose not to show those at E3 2017, but there will be some more news coming out from our teams later this year.

“No question.”
