Pokemon Go update: Raikou, Entei, Suicune are moving to THESE new regions

developer Niantic is about to make changes to the latest round of Legendary Raids.

After Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia left Pokemon Go on August 31, Niantic introduced new Legendary Raids featuring Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will appear in Legendary Pokemon Raids until the end of November, but they won’t appear in the same region at the same time.

Entei is currently available in North and South America, UK players can capture Suicune, while players in Asia are able to battle Raikou.

But that all changes on October 31, when the Legendary Pokemon will change for the final time.

From October 31, UK and European players will be able to capture Raikou, North and South American Trainers can battle Suicune, while Asian fans can pick up Entei.

The update takes place during the Halloween 2017 Pokemon Go event.

Lasting until November 2, the Pokemon Go Halloween event introduces Gen 3 Pokemon like Sableye and Banette.

Spooky Pokemon like Gastly, Drowzee and Cubone will also spawn more regularly for the duration of the event.

Elsewhere, fans can capture a special Pikachu wearing a witch hat, while avatars can be dressed up in Mimikyu’s hat.

Other bonuses include double candy for catching, hatching and transferring Pokemon, while Buddy Pokemon will find candy faster.

But Pokemon Go developer Niantic has bad news about the full Gen 3 release date.

Fans of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire will be disappointed with Niantic’s statement at the start of the Halloween event.

The next wave of Gen 3 Pokemon are pencilled in for an early December launch, but Niantic’s comments suggest the full Gen 3 release date will be staggered.

“The rest of the Pokémon first seen in the Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire video games will gradually arrive starting as early as December!” Niantic explained.

It could be that the next wave of Gen 3 Pokemon launch as part of a new event in early December, or start appearing in Raids.

Perhaps Niantic’s Christmas treat to fans will be the release of a huge batch of Gen 3 Pokemon for the festive season.
