Destiny 2 DLC update: Curse of Osiris release date REVEALED with new gameplay

Destiny 2’s first major DLC expansion has been detailed during Paris Games Week.

Curse of Osiris was revealed in full during Sony’s PlayStation Media Showcase.

Curse of Osiris takes players off to Mercury in search of legendary Guardian Osiris.

The Destiny 2 DLC has been given a December 5 release date.

“Curse of Osiris is Destiny 2’s first expansion and sends you back to the stars to solve a new mystery,” reads the official description.

“The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City. On your quest to find him, you’ll meet new characters, explore new places, tackle new challenges, and earn some sweet new loot.”

The PlayStation Media Showcase kicked off with a number of new game announcements.

This includes the announcement of Spelunky 2 from Mossmouth studio.

Other new games include brand new release called Oure, which launches later today.

LocoRoco 2, meanwhile, will be released on November 7, as the PSP cult hit gets a sequel.

But one of the biggest surprises of the evening was Ghost of Tsushima, which is being developed by the studio behind inFamous.

PlayStation VR games were also in abundance at Paris Games Week.

PixelJunk VR: Dead Hungry and Stifled are both coming to PSVR this week, while new Resident Evil 7 DLC will also be playable in virtual reality.

Moss, meanwhile, is described as a story book adventure for virtual reality.

Fans were also given a look at the new Final Fantasy 15 fishing DLC, Monsters of the Deep.
