Star Wars 8: ‘LUKE and Rey team up with Finn and Poe’ THIS scene changes EVERYTHING

Nobody saw this coming.

There has been a tidal wave of Last Jedi trailers, teasers and behind-the-scenes videos. Articles and interviews have revealed even more. Clever fans have even dissected the dialogue snippets from Star Wars toys for clues.

Everyone is trying to put together the potential timeline for Episode 8.

The latest revelation in a new Hollywood Reporter feature blows a huge hole in every single expectation and theory so far.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Most fans take it as given that Luke will not leave Ahch-To.

The latest shots of Rey being tortured by Snoke, plus the behind-the-scenes footage of Rey with Finn on Crait, clearly show that she will.

There is also expected to be a major attack on Ahch-To by Kylo Ren and his Knights. This was universally thought to take place before Rey leaves her master.

The Hollywood Reporter just threw all of this into confusion when it revealed that Finn and Poe will also be on Ahch-To.

The article was part of a press presentation on Skellig Island in Ireland, which double as Ahch-To.

THR said: “A behind-the-scenes video showed John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, as well as Ridley and Hamill, scampering up and down Skellig’s steep hillside and shooting scenes in Oscar-winning production designer Rick Heinrichs’ breathlessly cantilevered Jedi village, which was suspended 700 feet above the surf.”

This wasn’t a friendly visit between castmates, they were “shooting scenes.”

There are two possibilities:

1. The Ahch-To confrontation with Kylo Ren will take place at the end of The Last Jedi, with Rey bringing Finn and Poe back with her after she escapes from Snoke and fights on Crait.

2. Finn and Poe will somehow arrive on Ahch-To ahead of Kylo’s attack, earlier in the flm, perhaps to warn Rey and Luke. Rey will then leave with them for Crait, or be captured by Kylo Ren and taken to Snoke.

Not even a Jedi master coudl figure out all these plot riddles…
