After months of anguished waiting which would have tried even Yoda’s patience, Disney has been spoiling fans with new trailers and other material.
Earlier this week, USA Today hosted an exclusive teaser video (which is playing above) with many behind the scenes reveals and the first look at DJ in action.
Now a new International Trailer has been “officially confirmed” according to sources and it is coming very, very soon.
When will it be released? How long is it? How much will be new footage? What will we learn about Luke?

Youtube fan site Star wars Theory reveals: “We have official confirmation that the third and most likely the last trailer will be released as early as this Friday.
“At around 90 seconds, this is one minute shorter than the trailer before and will give a proper tone of the film.
“(There will be) new footage and scenes that we haven’t seen before in the teaser trailer or main trailer.”
“I think this one could be narrated by Luke or Rey, or perhaps even Leia.
“It will be diving into Luke’s dark past and (show) Snoke’s first reveal – looking like a monster out of an 80’s horror flick.”
The trailer is also expected to clear up the rumoured misdirections from the recent main trailer and show exactly who Luke and Snoke are talking to in their dramatic scenes.

In Taiwanese, pronouns have a gender so when Luke or Snoke says “you” it is possible to tell if they are speaking to a male or female.
When Snoke says “When I found you”, he is talking to a female character, most likely Rey.
When Snoke says “Fulfill your destiny”, this is said to a male, most likely Kylo Ren.
Finally, when Luke Skywalker says “This is not going to end the way you think”, it was thought he was talking to Rey but it is a male character which suggests it is Kylo Ren in a flashback to the destruction of Luke’s Jedi school.
