Kate Middleton and Prince William – the one thing you have NEVER noticed about the pair

Kate Middleton, 35, and Prince William, 35, were engaged in 2010, and a year later in April the pair were wed.

Thousands of people tuned in to watch the royal wedding and fans of the royals have been obsessed with Kate’s wedding details ever since.

Alongside what perfume the Duchess wore on the big day, and the gown she wore, William proposed to Kate with his mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring.

The special piece of jewellery is a stunning 12-carat sapphire and diamond piece.

But while Kate bares her bling on an everyday basis, William wears nothing on his left finger.

The prince does not wear his wedding band because of “personal preference”, according to royal insiders.

Penny Junor, author of The Duchess: Camilla Parker Bowles and the Love Affair that Rocked the Crown, told Vogue: “He doesn’t like jewellery.

“The Palace issued a statement before their wedding saying so.”

William reportedly decided before they walked down the aisle he would not wear a ring.

A St James’s aide revealed in 2011: “It was something the couple discussed but Prince William isn’t one for jewellery – he doesn’t even were signet ring – and decided he didn’t want to.

“It really is just down to personal preference.”

Kate and William are currently expecting their third child together.
