Cheating WARNING: The ONE sign your partner is sleeping with someone else

A cheating wife or husband is likely to show some marked changes in their sleeping habits if they are having an affair, a survey of those who admit to cheating has found.

Noticing your partner stirring or getting out of bed at unusual times is a bad sign if you worry that they have met someone new.

People change their sleeping patterns when they have an affair for all sorts of reasons, according the survey from cheating website IllicitEncounters.com.

One major issue that causes a lack of sleep is the guilt a cheating partner feels when they betray they partner by sleeping with someone else.

Over half of cheaters revealed they had problems sleeping after they began a secret relationship. Fifty-two per cent reported instances of troubled sleep, including waking up multiple times during the night, being unable to get to sleep, and waking up earlier than normal.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

This was down to feelings of guilt, which are the most prevalent throughout the first month of an affair.

Fifteen per cent of cheaters get out of bed purposefully early to allow themselves some time to text their secret lover.

If your partner has suddenly become much better at getting up in the mornings, you may well have something to worry about.

However, 28 per cent of cheaters slept better and for longer hours after starting an affair, because they were not deprived of intimacy any longer.

Another strong sign in a cheating partner who has become more affectionate.

If your partner is cuddling up and hugging you more than usual, than they could be one of the 57 per cent who stated that they showed extra affection to their partner in bed while they were having an affair.

On the other hand, up to 15 per cent of respondents couldn’t bear to face their partner, and avoided sleeping in the same bed with them altogether.

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains: “We all have a daily routine we tend to stick to, so when there’s erratic and inexplicable changes to that routine, especially as something as important as sleep, there tends to be cause behind the effect.

“Ultimately, the bottom line here is to look out for behaviour that you know is out of character. Don’t dismiss it as a one-off or a weird phase – there’s no smoke without fire.”

Cheating can happen at any time of year, but halloween can give you one sign as to whether your partner might be a cheat.

Men who are most likely to stray away will choose to dress as a pirate, while cheating women are more likely to wear a police officer garment according to research from Ashley Madison.
