Fans will step into the shoes of Bayek, as the Assassins are facing off against The Order of the Ancients – precursors to the Templars.
Ubisoft halted the yearly release schedule of Assassin’s Creed to refresh the series with Origins.
And reception so far has shown the bold move has paid off, with the new-look combat and lush setting going down well with fans.

They unveiled a ‘one of a kind’ machine-crafted sarcophagus, inspired by the Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty, Tutankhamun.
It was created using the most advanced printing and machining technology available, and then was mounted with a TV screen and an Xbox One X console.
It turned the sarcophagus into an extravagant gaming cabinet, which would gamers perfectly in the mood for the ancient Egypt setting of Origins.
