Victoria’s Secret models then and now – from Heidi Klum’s first runway turn to her last

Heidi Klum, 44, has a thirteen-year run as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Born and raised in a town outside Cologne, Germany, her modelling career was kickstarted when she was offered a modelling contract in 1992 by Thomas Zuemer, CEO of Metropolitan Models New York.

In 1997, she was picked up by Victoria’s Secret and asked for the first time to walk in its annual fashion show.

In 1999 she became the first German model to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

And in May 2011, Heidi was ranked second in Forbes’ list of the World’s Top-Earning Models, with  estimated earnings of $20million (£15million).

While Heidi may have put her Victoria’s Secret runway days behind her, Gigi, 22, and Bella Hadid, 21, have just begun their VS journeys.

The sisters are set to walk in this year’s show – Gigi is making her third appearance in the lingerie brand’s annual fashion show, while for her sister Bella it will be her second time.

Both women have been busy preparing, and their mum Yolanda Hadid, 53, has revealed just how
