Thor Ragnarok: Does this prove Hela will KILL Odin and ONE of the Warriors Three?

The Russo Brothers aleady warned fans that Avengers Infinity War woudl see the dramatic end for some popular characters.

As Thor Ragnarok opens in the UK (and a week later in the US) things are already looking a little dire for two of Thor’s most beloved people.

If all the rumours are to be believed, one must die so that Hela can gain control of a very powerful item while the other has already been seen in the trailer stepping forward to almost certain death.

WARNING: MAJOR POTENTIAL SPOILERS.

In the main Thor Ragnarok trailer there is a stirring moment as Hela faces the gathered warriors of Asgard.

One of the Warriors Three, Hogun, steps forward. After that there are shots of the devastation the Goddess of Death wreaks on any who stand in her way.

Given that steadfast and honourable Hogun is very unlikley to not stand in her way, it seems increasingly likely that Thor will now be left with the Warriors Two.

Kevin Feige has already explained  so the poor God of Thunder is looking inceasingly short of friends.

The other potential death would be even more devastating for Thor.

There are increasing remours that the final Infinity Stone, The Soul Stone, has been cleverly there in front of fans all the time. It is suggested that Odin has been tapping its incredible power as his “Odinforce.”

The Soul Stone is sourced in the power to control all life across the universe and all souls, living or dead. This sounds rather like someting linked to a Goddess of Death.

What if Odin originally took the Soul Stone from Hela?

The argument follows that Hela wants it back.

Furthermore the dramatic conformtation shown where she catches Thor’s hammer and crushes it is followed by her manifesting fully once more as the Goddess of Death, horns and all.

Why did Thor attack her? This scene appears to be before Hela storms Asgard. It seems to be the moment she regains her power.

Has she just killed Odin and seized the Soul Stone?
