Star Wars 8 NEW teaser video: Snoke’s Praetorian Guard as you’ve NEVER seen them before

There was sucha huge build-up to teh main Last Jedi trailer that is almsot seemd like itw oud befans’ last chance to see anting before the film hits cinemas.

However, a week later we have already been treated to a brand new two-minute teaser reel from USA Today filled with tantalising new images and footage.

It looks like Disney and Lucasfilm will be continuing to release new TV adverts, international variations and more glimpses behind the scenes for the next two months.

The latest one gave a very unexpected new look at one of Snoke’s impressive Praetorian Guards.

Litttle is known about the red-clad warriors so far. Some fans are even convinced that the are actually Kylo’s Knights of Ren in a new incarnation. Other think they will be part of a dramatic attack on Luke and rey on Ahch-To.

There seem to be either six or eight and each one has individually stylised armour and weapons.

Rather like Palpatine’s Imperial Guards, they have never been seen without their helmets. Until now…

Is this simply a moment between takes when the actor took the opportunity to cool off a little? Or will we actually get to see the people (and aliens) inside the impressive armour?

The actor seems to be striking a formal pose which looks like he is actually preparing for the scene to begin, so removing his helmet appears to be a deliberate decision.

STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI IS OUT ON DECEMBER 14
