Star Wars 8: Major Snoke theory debunked by producer ‘It’s just NOT true’

Is he an ancient alien from beyond the galaxy? is he a beloved character returned in mysterious and mangled form?

Is he simply someone who loves flashy robes and big rings?

Snoke’s real identity is vying with Rey’s parentage as the biggest mystery right now in the Star Wars franchise.

One of the most popular theories has just been shot down like a womp rat by a Star Wars producer.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Dave Filoni is one of the producers and main brains behind the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

He freely admits he loves all the theories: “You love the fans. I’m one of them.

“If I wasn’t here working on Star Wars, I’ll bet you I would have a bang-old Snoke theory of my own. I don’t fault them for coming. I think we want them to come up with stuff because it means they’re engaged. It shows how much they love it.”

But he has no hesitation in debunking the fan hopes that Snoke will turn out to be one of Filoni’s own beloved characters.

That’s right, Snoke is not Ezra Miller, despite his growing pull towards the Dark Side during his training under Jedi master Kanan. Darth Maul even tries to recruit him.

Filoni told ComicBook: “It’s just not true.”

Filoni added: “I try and beat around the bush.

“I like reading the fan theories, and when I read them, I think, ‘Well, there’s no possible reason that that can’t be true, it’s just not true.'”

Back to the drawing board and feverish speculating then…
