Ring of fire hit with 5.2 magnitude earthquake near Bali’s Mount Agung volcano

The quake struck in the Banda Sea, in the Maluku Islands of Indonesia, connected to the Pacific Ocean at just before 12pm (local time). 

It landed in the Ring of Fire, so-called because a huge number of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions take place there.

It is not known yet if there are any injuries and no tsunami warnings. 

The latest earthquake comes after around 20 million people will have felt the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that rocked Mount Agung on Tuesday, according to Watchers.news.
